Epitomy Solutions, the Sheffield based aftermarket solutions provider, is to create and build a web-based sales channel for the Belle Group, the number one manufacturer in light construction equipment.  Unlike most of Epitomy's projects the objective is sell whole products as well as aftermarket parts.

'Belle's product range lends itself to web sales,' according to Andrew Vernon.  'A combination of leading brand status plus a well known range of quality light construction products suggests that the product is right for web-based sales and distribution,' he added.  'Whilst most capital goods manufacturers have historically made the distinction between product and aftermarket sales the trend towards product life management and the business process improvements this demands particularly with regard to product data management and publishing will make this distinction redundant for many,' he concluded.

With manufacturing in Sheen, Derbyshire and in Poland Belle Group sells its leading cement mixer and compacter products globally. 'We needed a web applications supplier that could deliver a multi-lingual solution as we'll be selling product and parts in over 30 countries and in 25 different languages,' says Ray Neilson, Managing Director of Belle Group.  'Epitomy could do this for us.  We expect to have our new channel launched within weeks,' he added.

Distributing parts from its World Parts Centre in Leek, Staffordshire, Belle expects significant growth in incremental product and part sales globally from this new channel.
