Optare, the UK’s leading midibus manufacturer has launched Stage I of its new aftermarket portal and electronic parts catalogue.  Developed by Epitomy Solutions and sponsored by Unitec, the company’s aftermarket division, the ‘Unitec Portal’ allows customers to quickly identify the right parts greatly reducing order errors and speeding orders and deliver.

“Stage I has allowed some of key customers to trial the system for our Solo and Tempo models,” said Paul Shepherd, Optare’s Aftermarket Director.  “Over the coming months online ordering and tracking features will be added as will products to cover our full fleet,”   continued Mr. Shepherd.  “We are now servicing more customers across a much wider area of the UK.  It is essential that we guarantee an efficient supply of Optare parts as well as other parts for those customers who rely on us for the full range.”
